This website is dedicated to the actor Dominic Keating, which you must have realised by now, considering his name is splashed everywhere on this page and all others. d'uh.

This website is a fansite, in no way affiliated with the man himself yet is one of the most comprehensive sites out there. *toot toot*

On the following pages you can find stacks of screen caps of Dominic in various roles, past, present and future, as well as as much information about his work as I can possibly come up with. Information on conventions, upcoming and past, and a growing page with information on when and where you can see Dominic on your tv screens, in movie theatres, or on dvd.

February 2008 -

  • Dominic's role on Heroes lasted approx 5 episodes. Various rumours say it should have been 10 episodes but that due to rewrites it was shortened. We are currently waiting to find out about a dvd release of season 2 part 1, however due to the writers strike, dvd releases are currently up in the air.
  • Dominic's 2 episodes of Prison Break aired last Autumn. Once a season 3 dvd release is announced details will be put up here.
  • Dominic is announced for the Creation conventions in New Jersey in March and in Las Vegas during August. In Vegas he will put on a cabaret act with Connor for fans and in Secaucus he will perform at the regular cabaret evening. Let's hope he isn't doing karaoke!
  • Beowulf is currently scheduled to be released on dvd in the USA on February 26th. It will be released with a basic version, HD version and an Unrated director's cut, the latter will be packed with extra features.

October 2007 -

  • Dominic's role on Heroes began in the first episode of the season airing at the end of September 2007. It is expected to last approx five episodes. His role is in an arc concerning Peter Petrelli who is mysteriously in Ireland with amnesia.
  • Showbiz magazine Variety has reported that Dominic has landed a role in hit show Prison Break. Details have not been released but we hope it will be successful.
  • Dominic is announced for the Orlando Scifi Vulkon convention in November as a featured guest for the Sunday alongside fellow Star Trek/Heroes actors George Takei and Nichelle Nichols. Connor Trinneer is also attending.
  • Species: Awakening is now available on dvd in the USA. Dominic's role is prominent in the feature. The film premiered on Scifi channel at the end of September with advertisements citing Dominic's role in the film, giving him major credit as 'star is Star Trek Enterprise'.
  • Beowulf's release date is nearing and the film is currently in an advertising frenzy with television advertising, trailers, posters and cut outs. Dominic's name is not in the list of stars in these however as his role is relatively small.
  • Mixsherpa.com has a new introduction by Dominic as Ian Westbury. The site no longer seems to guide you through music choices, instead it now links to the myspace page, downloads of the mp3 songs and sprint websites.

July 2007 -

  • Dominic has been cast as a recurring character for the next season of hit NBC show HEROES. Trade paper Variety reported that he will play an Irish mobster. Whether he has powers, and what those powers are, is not yet known. Current rumour is that he will have a 5 episode arc. Time will tell if this will be extended.
    This is from an interview with creator of Heroes, Tim Kring. Hopefully this bodes well for Dominic's new role:
    "Heroes needs to evolve, and if we are positing an idea that this is happening all over the world to many, many people, then we get to see some of those people and see how their story fits in."

June 2007 -

  • Dominic WILL be attending the NJ creation convention. For his own reasons he will not be performing in Edniburgh this August. There are other projects in the pipeline that we look forward to instead and hopefully await announcements on them.

  • Dominic's work as Ian Westbury is still going. MixSherpa.com has been launched by Sprint Nextel. Ian and his shop assistant DJ will help you by suggesting songs you might like based on playlist choices.
    Keep going back over them, picking other playlists and you'll get alternate suggestions! Warning, the site is slightly addictive, lol!
    Also available at Ian's myspace page is the downloads for 'Under the moon' and the B-side 'baby gave me her number'. You can also download pictures and video, including video of the launch party and behind the scenes on the making of the 'under the moon' video.

May 2007 -

  • Dominic's recent appearance in Jackson, MI has answered some questions (and raised others!). Ian Westbury is, as expected, part of an advertising campaign for Sprint Nextel. It is viral advertising, which means that it begins innocuously on the internet as if 'real' and will then spread into a full advertising campaign (if/when successful). Dominic has attended Sprint hosted parties fully in character promoting a new phone. The parties were attended by various celebrities. Intention is to begin with the website (myspace and also the Sprint website) and other appearances and then the next step will be taken!
    Dominic does NOT sing on the track for 'Under the Moon'. He's just there to look pretty!

  • Also from the appearance he has mentioned a commitment to a World War 2 film that is set, however the film still needs bank-rolled before the green light is firm for it to start production. We await word on when that might happen.
  • Tim Russ' recent short film PLUGGED will hopefully get a dvd release shared with Tim's other short films for him to sell through his website some time in the future.

  • Dominic is considering taking a theatrical role on the stage in Edinburgh with a three month commitment. Likelihood is for the show to be part of the International Edinburgh Festival (or, indeed, the Fringe) which Dominic has performed during before, which is in August.
    There is no guaranteed commitment yet and Creation have Dominic scheduled for their event in NJ during July. Dominic was unaware he had been scheduled for this event. He was asked but had given no firm answer. Those thinking of heading to the event please hold off if only going for him as it is possible he won't be attending!

  • Dominic is now off to go surfing in Hawaii for a while. He will not be going over to shoot anything for Lost. He has auditioned for them a number of times now and is still not been cast. Obviously the producers have no sense!


April 2007 -

  • The trailer for Dominic's upcoming direct to DVD movie Species IV is now available online here. Searching for 'Species IV' on youtube will also show you the trailer and likely on other video websites also.

  • The Immortal complete series is now available on DVD, available from Amazon.com. Look for a direct link also in our products section.

  • THE SECRET IS OUT!! We don't know what the whole secret is yet, but it's got to be juicy!

    More information will be up once we know the answer to the burning question: wtf???

February 2007 -

  • Dominic's short film 'Plugged' directed by Tim Russ and produced by Bob and Jim Productions is up at their website here with photos behind the scenes on the shoot.


  • Dominic's film Certifiably Jonathan has gone to film festival and is schedules to play at the HBO Comedy Film Festival in Aspen Feb 28 - Mar 4 2007.

January 2007 -

  • LAS VEGAS season 3 box set pushed back in the UK for release in Febraury. It had to wait until Sky One finished airing the series, which happened at the end of December. Available here on play.com.

  • Following the convention in London, his fanclub have a signed Golf dvd to auction off for charity. Once the link is up it will be posted here. Proceeds will go to Unicef.
    As promised the link to the set is here. If the link doesn't want to work go to ebay.co.uk and type in a search for 'dominic keating' and you'll be able to find it there. All proceeds go immediately from the sale to UNICEF via ebay. Once the auction is over, the results will be posted. It is a seven day auction beginning January 14th, 2007. Good luck!

  • As mentioned at the Creation convention in London early January, Dominic will be filming a short film with Tim Russ (Star Trek Voyager) once he heads back to LA. Also in the pipeline is a stage performance in London in the Spring but this is NOT confirmed. More details if and when they become available.

  • The next fan collective set of Star Trek episodes celebrating the 40th Anniversary is the Klingon set which is released on 15th January region 2. This set features the 'Broken Bow' episode(s) of Star Trek Enterprise. Available here on play.com. This is only the second fan collective to feature Enterprise episodes, after the Borg set, which has 'Regeneration' from season 2.
