Buffy the Vampire Slayer: (1999)

Episode: Helpless (3.12)


Character: Blair

Blair is a member of the Watcher's Council, who have been around as long as the Slayers have in order to train her.

Episode Summary:

Buffy turns 18. As is traditional, on the Slayer's 18th birthday, without her knowing, she is drugged (to take away her slayer strength) and tested to see if she is good enough to remain as the slayer.

Dominic's character arc :

Blair joins Quentin Travers (head of the watcher's council) to Sunnydale in order to test Buffy. They bring with them a Hannibal Lector like Vampire (in a box, wearing a straight jacket) but Blair is tricked by him while giving him pills for a headache and is turned into a Vampire. Blair then joins Zachary's (the vamp in a box) fight against Buffy (and later, Giles) until, well... until the end.

Casualty: (1990)

Episode: Remembrance (ep63)(s5)


Character: Ian Tilsley

Episode Summary:

Squatters are thrown off an allotment and end up in casualty where Brian's head wound is attended to and girlfriend, Jody's told she is pregnant. Julian crosses swords with Beth as he takes over one of her cases because Charlie thought she could hand it but his efforts to save the old lady are not entirely appreciated. Her son Howard and his wife Caroline, argue over her treatment but her death pushes them further apart. Jimmy is in trouble with Duffy and Charlie when his girlfriend Andrea, who has a drug problem, reveals he stole the drugs from their department. She eventually tells the truth and clears Jimmy, although Charlie always knew he was innocent. A spillage in a factory causes problems for three men who are overcome by fumes and the young Indian lad, manages to pull Ron and Sam out before collapsing. Ron blames the lad for the accident but has to apologise when he is told he owes his life to him.

Character: Tomak Walenski

Russian immigrant framed for murder/ Top Morlock Assassin...

Episode Summary:

Smythe dies and finds out that his record is 'dubious' and he may not get into heaven. To earn some points he joins the core.

Dominic Character arc:

On Chandler's first job we meet Russian immigrant Tomak, who worked in a butchers. A few years ago he was attacked by a demon/cop who he then shot in self defence and he was arrested for murder and sent to jail. But maybe the demon/cop wasn't killed. If the good guys can prove that then they can set an innocent man free before he's executed that night. But there's more to all of this than meets the eye... when they find the demon cop and he gives a new side to the story.

G vs E (2000)

Episode: Immigrant Evil (2.3)


Character: Sergei Draskovic

Refugee, husband, father.. sold his soul to the devil.

Episode Summary:

Demons, trying to get humans to sell their souls to the devil, have been bribing refugees to come to America to be safe. In return, they get the person's soul.

Dominic Character arc:

Sergei brought his wife and daughter with him and will do anything to keep them safe. He's earmarked by the good guys as being a way to get to the demons and ends up helping them heroically. Including getting tied up.

Heroes (2007)

Character: Will

Irish low-level gangster.

Episode (arc) Summary:

After Peter Petrelli exploded at the end of season 1, we now find him alive but with amnesia chained to the inside of a cargo pod in a dockyard in Cork, Ireland when crooks break in looking for ipods.

Dominic Character arc:

Will is one of the gang in the heist for the ipods. After they bring Peter to the pub, he begins to manifest strange powers that the gang can't explain. They need to pull a major heist and need Peter's help. Peter overhears telepathically from Will that he wants to money for himself. No one believes Peter because he is the outsider. The heist goes to plan but back in the pub, Will tries to take the money but Peter stops him and he runs from the pub alone with the head of the gang embracing Peter as part of the group. Later we see Will at the docks working when Elle shows up looking for Peter and he points her in the right direction...

Holby City: (2008)

Episode: Love Will Tear Us Apart (10.25)


Character: Ollie

Ollie is a 40 ish year old man who still acts like he's in his 20s: going out drinking, riding his motorbike and getting up at 2pm to eat left over chinese food.

Episode Summary:

Maddy is rocked when she receives a call from Clifford, distracting her from her duties on AAU and causing her to make errors in surgery. Joseph is being suspiciously nice to Jac in the wake of her arrest - which upsets Faye, and Donna's attempts to get time alone with Michael go wrong when it imperils a potential organ donation.

Dominic's character arc :

Ollie arrives at the hospital on his bike with someone behind him. It turns out to be Sabrina, his (former) best friend's daughter who he is currently seeing and who is suffering from a hernia she developped pulling a drunken Ollie out of the gutter one night.But despite his ways and her father's protests, she loves him and wants to live with him. As Ollie andher father wait for Sabrina to come out of surgery, Ollie is punched and has to have his nose seen to.

Inspector Morse: (1992)

Episode: Dead On Time (6.1)


Character: Murray Stone

Young journalist.

Episode Summary:

When an elderly don apparently commits suicide, Inspector Morse is called in and finds he has a deep personal involvement in the case. The wife of the dead man, Henry Fallon, is Susan, the woman Morse was once engaged to many years previously.

Dominic Character arc:

Murray is following up on some old stories on euthanasia and the doctor who believes that a patient has the right to die. Now that doctor may be needed to give evidence in a murder trial and the police use murray's information to make sure they don't get any nasty surprises.

Las Vegas: (2006)

Episode: Bait and Switch (3.12)


Character: Anthony Denvy

Anthony is a gambler from Kansas (with a british accent *shrug*).

Episode Summary:

Big Ed and Mike have to find out how a gambler is cheating at the craps table who claims he can win everytime he plays.

Dominic's character arc :

Anthony arrives at the Montecito and plays a few hands, he wins everytime but always stops when he gets to 10,000. Big Ed asks him what it is, and he says he just gets a feeling and it goes once 10,000 hits. In order to find out how he cheats, Ed and Mike ask him to do some publicity for the Montecito by playing a few hands and they'd pay him for it. They put a camera in a chip to find out what can be seen and how the dice are switched. But they still can't see anything. What else is Anthony doing? And when will they catch him?

Character: Andrew Tyge

French, inmate.

Episode Summary:

A new inmate named Tyge is brought to Sona. After he seemingly recognizes Whistler, Michael's doubts arise. T-Bag enters a new area of commerce. Lincoln goes to the seaside with Sofia. Sucre takes over the side-business of his predecessor.

Dominic Character arc:

Tyge is brought into Sona and immediately recognises Whistler from a few years back when they both (he thinks) worked in a hotel together in Nice. In the meantime he gets beaten up, walks around shirtless all the time, and spies on Whistler and the others as they plan the break out. Unsurprisingly he winds up dead and the inmates must find out who did it.

Special Unit 2 (2001)

Episode: The Wraps (1.3)


Character: Dr Harlan Edens

Museum Curator... mostly.

Episode Summary:

A mummy is being transported to the museum on a stormy night. The van is struck by lightning which has enough power in it to revive the mummy. Now this Japanese mummy (a fierce samurai warrior) is trying to recreate what it was to be offered in the afterlife.

Dominic Character arc:

Dr Edens is the curator at the museum the mummy was being transported to and is more than happy to help the Unit track down the culprit of these crimes (usual scifi, normal people know nothing aout strange things). But things may not be as they seem with the nice Dr. Edens...

Teenage Health Freak: (1993)


Character: Tony St. Michael

Photographer, bad boy.

Episode Summary:

The winner of the Royal Television Society award for Best Youth Programme, Teenage Health freak was an adaption of Aidan Macfarlane and Ann McPherson's novel "The Diary of a Teenage Health Freak". Shown on Britain's Channel 4 in the early 90s, this teenage comedy-drama ran for 12 half-hour episodes over 2 seasons.
The Health Freak in question is one Peter Payne (Alex Langdon) and we follow his attempts to cope with his parents (Tilly Vosburgh and series writer Daniel Peacock) and school-life, dominated by his lust for beautiful classmate Amanda Jeffs (Liza Walker). Things were not plain sailing though, as Amanda hardly knew he was alive and clueless headmaster (Tony Robinson) didn't help matters. To blow off steam, Peter used a video camera to record his life.

Dominic Character arc:

Again, the lack of knowledge on the show, and how many episodes Dominic was in, it is difficult to do a full redux.
Tony is a photographer. He took some compromising pictures of a client who now wants those pictures back from him. He sold them despite telling her he wouldn't and they showed up in a pub advertising peanuts! She buys them back from him for a lot of money but he then turns evil and tells her she'll never work as a model again. episode 12 summary: Tony is not happy. Thanks to Amanda he now has a criminal record, but even worse, Jo decides to enter her painting of him in an art competition.
